What workspace plan suits cloud project development with focus on Youtube APIs and libraries

I have been working on a cloud project that now needs to opt for a Workspace. I use freelancers from time to time.
For testing purposes I have also setup a youtube channel and joined the creators workshop in order to get all tools like the ablity to geo-restrict as I was told.
I now have to choose a Workspace plan for the domain that already has cloude identity. I thought I would be given a workspace because after March 2025 it is impossible to have a cloud project without one. I keep getting warnings.
So, before I commit I would like to know which one is most suitable because it seems even office users could use one. I am already an Office subscriber and Gemini Advance subscriber. It would be nice if I could roll them all up into one that is also suitable for software developer because I am basically a developer first. So, please give me some ideas. I am lost amonsgt all these choices. I keep finding out that I need something more.

https://support.google.com/a/answer/6043385?hl=en&co=DASHER._Family%3DBusiness has a really nice comparison between the editions. If it were me, what I'd do is take a look at that list of features and pick the one that seems best, but only do it on a monthly billing plan to start with. Then, if it doesn't meet your needs, you can easily upgrade or downgrade your plan. Once you get to one you are happy with, you could consider moving to the annual plan, which can save a bit of money.

Hope that helps,

Thank you, I have finally sorted out my project.

My project went dormant for a while because I lost a programmer and I couldn't find one with experience with yt-dlp. In the end I found another way of coding it myself which turned out to be just a half a dozen scripts, I wrote myslef.

Meanwhile Google seems to have changed things and made Workspace compulsory but no-one ever told me. They just marked my Project as legacy and kept asking me to upgrade but the upgrade wouldn't work.
The confusing issue was that I was by then the only member of the project and by default I was the owner, editor and super administrator and I even had a login to Workspace. But that login wouldn't go anywhere.

I finally managed to chat with a Workspace support who suddenly realised that I hadn't subscribed to a paid Workspace and recommended that I should.

But even that didn't help and messed things up, because it dragged my project out of my registered domain. He then handed me over to Cloud support who remnotely connected to my device and we spent hours trying assigning rights to different accounts even thought they were all the same person and linked to one Google account. Until I was too tired to continue.
By then I had been on my desk going through jusngle of links for over 12 hours non stop. So, I asked him to continue this on Monday morning.
Needless to say that I never heard of the man again. But over the weekend I thought of something. I thought of adding the owner account of my project to my workspace admins. This would double my subscription but I was still in the trial period and Google kept alerting me to expand my subscription.

I didn't pay attention to it. This created common ground between my project and my Workspace sharing administraotrs. This allowed me to edit the roles and finally migrate back to my domain. Once I did that then I updated sucessfully.

I was going to remove the second administrator at some stage but then I got notification that its account was suspended. I might still need that account on temporary basis because it was used to authorise scripts. So, I archived it for the time being.

Therefore, there is still a long way to go but the main hurdle has been removed.
Nonetheless, I am still critical of support. It is too reliant on Gemini that as an AI is nowhere near good enough to handle things. Pushing bad automation on clients/customers is just not very nice especially when the human resources don't seem any better or knowledgable.

But, hey, it is what it is.
