Hello Google,
I have been trying to use the "Appointment slots" features in Calendar
I was veru excited about the idea to have this feature direcly available from workspace and not to have to sign up with another external app that will access all my professional and personal data...
However, if the programming function seems to work:
eg: recurring availibility monday to friday between 10am and 1pm until a date set in the future
the link that i get to share it doesn't really work. First, the design is not clean enough to share with a client,
second if i have another meeting coming up it doesn't kill the avablity of the slots on the samee date/time. eventually i want them to see only the slots that are available a bit like this link proposed on pipedrive / calendly and other tools for this. i am sure you can nail it.
third, when a client books a meeting i want it to generate an invite on both ends with a google meet link automatically in there. and kill the availibility on that slot.
i hope you get inspired and finish that awesome feature soon!

@edlemon1 Try switching to the new version, called "Appointment Schedules" (which will eventually replace the limited Appointment Slots feature).
To use Appointment Schedules, you first have to turn it on in Calendar settings:
Thank you Christian, Yes that is what i had in mind.
surprisingly this feature is not available for small size businesses ?!
We have a business starter plan...
Correct. It's only available from Business Standard and higher as well as Workspace Individual.
Correct, this feature is one of the many benefits of Business Standard edition, and it works like a charm โจ
Ok I get it. Thanks for your help again but before i switch 17 persons to a higher plan for the use of 4 users, I wanted to get a confirmation, or a visual demo and I am not getting anywhere close...
Even in their upgrade page it is not mentioned...

@edlemon1 If you want a demo of how it works, feel welcome to send me a DM and we can jump on a quick Google Meet!

The closest you can get to a visual demo without upgrading is probably the announcement blog post where the feature was introduced. It has some screenshots and animated GIFs. Find it here:

Another option would be to get a free 14-day trial of Google Workspace Individual. It contains the full feature set you are looking for and you could play around with it to see how it works and whether it fits your usecase. You can sign up for the trial here:
