I have a customer that I converted from Google Workspace to Office 365 a couple of years ago. I did not have access to the Google Workspace admin portal. I took over IT services a couple of years back. The previous MSP had stopped and ended the subscriptions. I moved over MX records and all is fine.
I find out that their email accounts with their domain is still within Google Workspace. They don't receive email, but when someone in Gmail sends them say a calendar invite, the individual sending gets to acceptance emails, one from their email in Office 365 and from this Google Workspace "ghost" account.
The client showed me that they were able to still login to the accounts. We can't delete the accounts, because they are Workspace accounts. I have two of them like this. How can these be removed without contacting the old MSP. Obviously they were supposed to have removed the accounts, but it seems just the subscriptions were removed.
