Connected wrong gmail account to domain and can't remove it

So I accidentally connected my personal gmail while setting up a new company domain email through workspace between me and a partner and I am now stuck on the payment page for that account. The account technically doesn't exist yet so I can't delete it and restart the process. The only option I have is to connect my billing information to start the monthly email service. When I try to create a new google workspace account using the business domain it says "this domain is currently in use".

How do I remove the newly created domain email account and start the process over so I can use the gmail account that me and my business partner share?
