Create Google Docs per group

I would like to set the permission "create new Google Docs, Sheets and Presentations" individually per group. In other words, I would like to define the main group for a user. If a user is a member of two groups, one group is allowed to create new Google Docs, the other one not, the user is automatically not allowed to create either (the group without the right is the main group, not changeable).

Hi, you should be able to achieve this with configuration groups. If a user is in two groups and you want the group with the more restrictive permissions to apply, you will have to prioritize the groups in the order of most-restrictive to least-restrictive. In other words, if a user is in more than one access group, the permissions of the first group will apply and the permissions of the second group will be ignored.

Note that you need at least Workspace Business Standard for this. The feature is not available in the smaller tiers.
