DELETE MASS MAIL THROUGH THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONSOLE

Unfortunately, I was surprised that you cannot delete an email that was sent in bulk through groups. This is complex, since, being an educational entity, it is important to Educate and not restrict. But if a shipping problem does not occur according to what is established, there is no way to eliminate it and that option should be there. Independent of the configurations or safeguards that one could anticipate.

You can do this with the free, open source, command-line, indispensable GAM tool. Check out:

for more details.

Specifically, see https://github.com/taers232c/GAMADV-XTD3/wiki/Users-Gmail-Messages-Threads#delete-messages-by-messag...

Hope that helps,

Ian

Hi @Pedro_Mora  I agree with what @icrew wrote, these tools allow you to perform bulk deletion of the messages based on their IDs.

However using them requires technical background, CMD skills and the tool needs to be authorized to perform actions as an admin (for such action: Gmail APIs access is required).

If you would like to have such option by default in the admin console, Education Standard and Plus SKUs of Workspace for Education offers Security Center: Investigation Tool, that component allows you to search for all messages with a certain ID or different attributes of the message,  and delete them in bulk/quarantine or mark as spam/phishing.

Hope this helps,
Best,
Marcin
