Did anyone has the same sign up problems?

Hi,

I've tried to sign up at Google Workspace with a newly registered domain. I've filled in all required forms and the admin account was successfully created.

But once, I tried to sign in using an admin account, Google asked for phone verification, and for some reason, none of my phone numbers are accepted by Google.

I'm receiving the same error "This phone number cannot be used for verification.".
I've tried two of the phone numbers I have, I've tried my business partner's phone number, and I even tried to use a virtual number I have for my business without any luck.

I'm spending the second day in a row trying to solve this issue since I need a corporate email address for paperwork. I believe I won't be able to move forward without Google Support. But it looks like there is no way to contact any support representative without actually signing in.

I'd appreciate any help or suggestions.

I've only seen the issue when you have already used your number too many times for different accounts.  It may be an issue if your using a voip number.  If you have tried on multiple actual lines then I don't think the phone is the issue.

I would try the standard something is wrong troubleshooting.

Try incognito mode
Clear Cache CTRL + SHFT + DEL
Restart Chrome Chrome://restart
Disable Chrome Extensions
Try on a different machine
Try downloading admin app for mobile.

You could try creating another account from scratch and  see if you have an issue.

Open a case with Google support.

Someone else may have encountered this issue and have more details.

Thank you for your advice.

I've just tried in incognito mode, another machine, a phone, and a different browser. It didn't help.

It looks like the Admin mobile doesn't allow sign-in before I finish the verification process in the web.

Finally, creating a new account from scratch doesn't work either, since the business domain is already occupied by the first unverified account.

I couldn't find a way to open a case with Google support. Could you please explain how to do that?

@ikhrustalev The thing is your domain is already in use by another google workspace account. this means one of the previous owners of this domain already signed up to google workspace with this domain.

you need to fill out this form to get it resolved:

Signup issues: https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/recovery/domain_in_use

You can create another account with a different domain and then switch the domains after the fact but it may not be worth the hassle, it might take some time to release the domain.

Try opening a case here.  If you have permission to create one, make sure you add an email address that can receive mail in the Case Sharing section.  I'm not sure on the options if you can't open one there,  I can look and see if I find anything.

I've chosen another provider for now. Unfortunately, I have pretty tight deadlines for running a business, and this blocker doesn't worth this hassle right now.

Thank you for your help! I would probably give another shot in a month or two.

There are phone numbers for support but you typically have to have a support pin from your admin console, which you don't have.  Here are the numbers, worth a shot.
