How do we disable / hide the "Reminders" and "Tasks" calendars in Google Calendar? Unlike the other calendars, Tasks and Reminders don't have "Settings and Sharing" options in their "…" menus.
In the left navigation pane of Google Calendar, find the "My Calendars" section. You will find both tasks and reminders there and you can turn them off (untick the checkbox next to them). This will prevent them from showing on your calendar.
Unchecking only hides the events. It does not remove the items from the list, which is what I want.
They can't be removed entirely. What you can do is turn off the Tasks app in the admin console, which will remove the app completely. Note that this will turn off tasks everywhere, in Gmail, in Spaces, and the calendar.
Reminders, however, cannot be turned off as they are an integral part of Calendar and not a separate (separately controllable) app.
Note that Google has recently announced that Reminders will be merged into the Tasks app. Meaning, Reminders as we know them will stop existing at that point.
Hi, is any way to get back my reminders, I use with google keep note to track some activities, suddenly the checkbox under my calendar dissapears. I create a new account and work just fine. But is not a solution for me.
