Email delivery issues within same domain

Hi guys,

I have been seeing a weird issue where I cannot send emails to persons within the same workspace. This was working up to a few days ago. I've sent test messages and they have also send test messages to me. Neither of these get delivered and there are no bounce messages or other errors in the console. I'm on the Business Starter so I can't raise support directly. Any ideas of where to go from here?

Thanks for the feedback. After some more digging the problem turned out to be a DNS issue. It was a bit confusing at first because mail to other google workspace accounts (on other domains) was working though mail to gmail was not. Appreciate the assistance but no further diagnosis was required once I did some external mail testing with mxtoolbox.

I’m not sure exactly what’s going on, but a couple of clarifying questions that might help: 

1) Are you able to successfully receive messages from other domains, like Gmail.com?

2) How are you sending the test emails? Through the Gmail web interface, or through some other client?

I would love to see what solution you arrived at, because we're currently having this issue and I can't seem to figure it out.

As indicated above, there was nothing to resolve in the Google Workspace. It was a problem with our DNS configuration as it turned out. I would suggest using mxtoolbox or similar online tools to check the health of your DNS and mail configurations.
