hi all, I used to run a small business, and for my email had a Google workspace account. This was logged in on my phone and crucially on Google Maps. I now no longer need the workspace account, but for the last 20 years Iโve been saving locations and timelines by my phone into Google Maps. I am desperate not to lose this data, and move it to my free Gmail account, and then make that my primary account, and end the subscription for workspace. Iโve looked in as many places as I can find, and I canโt see any simple way to export this data from one account and move it to another Google account.I can see a way of exporting saved places, however this loses any rich data associated with it. I can see a way of packing up my timeline, but not a way of actually importing that into another account. Is there any way to do this? I really donโt care about the emails, itโs just my Maps data and location history that I want to move to my free gmail account, as thats a very important memory for me, and a history of where Iโve been for many many years.
if it helps my domain was hosted elsewhere, and I just set up mail forwarding with the domain registrar to send my email to a Google address, so Google never really had the domain control. Therefore, if I close my workspace account, my email address which is registered with Google as my workspace address, can still actually exist.
