This is a request for better visibility to the rollout for Gemini App (gemini.google.com) for Workspace customers with enterprise-grade data protection.
On September 24th, announcement was made that Gemini app is included for Workspace Business and Enterprise customers.
On October 25th, announcement was made with regards to the timeline
When I checked this morning for a test account, I see the Admin Console change, which indicates that the change has rolled out to the domain.
However, when I go to gemini.google.com with a user who currently has a Business Standard License, the terms of service indicates that it is governed by Google Terms of Service, which indicates that the rollout has not yet completed for the domain/user
Is anybody able to confirm the current rollout status, and a provide a better way to track the rollout status (e.g. MSA to administrators, etc.)
Looking to understand this too.
I was surprised to see how Gemini took a step back in terms of data sharing compared to Duet which seemed like it was not sharing any business data at all by default.

For those that are following, looks like it has since changed. This is what I get now for a user that has Workspace license only.
I still see this in the admin console, which is preventing admins from turning it on:
This appears to conflict with what the end-users are seeing (your screenshot above)... but until admins are clear, they will avoid.
For what it's worth, support article below confirms rollout.

Based on my testing, leaving will unchecked will be fine which will allow users to access gemini.google.com if have a compatible Workspace or Gemini license assigned
Thanks, @brian_kim - seems everything is rolled out now - just wish it was more clear, and more smooth, than it was.
