We are evaluating Google Advanced MDM test in OU.
I have set the management mode to Advanced.
The test device has an existing Workspace account and a Gmail account.
The device notifies that account action is required for the Workspace account. When I tap the notification nothing happens so the installation of android device policy does not start.
Are there any settings that I should check?
How can I install the android device policy when device has an existing Workspace account?

Arto

I would suggest the below things.
1. As a general practice, I would remove the corporate gmail account from the app and re-add it. It should trigger Work Profile creation automatically.
2. Check if your device is part of Android Enterprise Recommended/Ready list. I've seen similar issues mostly on old devices wherein device OEMs change the OS code in order to add more functionalities/features. Trying to add account in a different device should help narrow down the issue.
3. All the new devices (with Android 12+) have MDM code built into the OS, so there should not be any need to download any agent. However, if you're using an older version of Android, you should be prompted to first download Android Device Policy App.
