Hello everybody,
So we first had a google domain with GSuite configured. Then we migrated the domain to shopify. This worked out fine and the new domain is connected to the Shopify store and working. But somehow our GMail got mixed up and doesnt work anymore. Before it was <PII removed by staff> but now it looks weird like this:
<PII removed by staff>.c-03383uvx.appstempdomain.goog
When inside the Google Admin Console it tells me that mylongevitylife.com.c-03383uvx.appstempdomain.goog is the primary domain and mylongevitylife.com is the user alias domain. I can also only login to my google account using this weird new email.
I just updated the MX and TXT DNS Configurations on the Shopify site to have these both confirmed and Gmail activated. One is already processed , the other is still pending. I just wanted a heads up if this will solve the issue and if not, what will?
Thanks in advance!
Hello!
I couldn't find any infomation about this appstempdomain.goog.
But this seems to be a google's temporary domain change by google's side, because something similar happens when you have a unmanaged google account and will change to a manage google account. Google generaly change those accounts to @gtempaccount.
Using chatGPT i receive this infos:
--------------------
If your Google Workspace domain has been changed to something ending in "appstempdomain.goog", this is likely due to an action taken by Google, possibly related to a temporary issue or a specific administrative process. Here are a few potential reasons for such a change:
Domain Verification Issues: If there were issues verifying the ownership of your original domain, Google might temporarily change the domain.
Policy Violation: If your use of Google Workspace violated Google's policies, they might change your domain as part of a suspension or other administrative action.
Technical Glitch: It could be a temporary glitch or error in Google's system.
Migration or Update Process: During certain migration or update processes, Google might temporarily assign a different domain.
Account Recovery or Support Action: If you are recovering your account or have requested support, this might be a temporary change made by Google support.
In any case, the best course of action is to contact Google Workspace support directly. They can provide specific information about your account and the reasons for any changes. Ensure that you have all relevant account information on hand when you contact them to streamline the process.

I recommend you to open a ticket, because i don't see any availabe information about how to fix this.
Best regards,
Jan Carlos
