First post, so apologies if I've got anything wrong.
I've been tasked with trying to arrange a live stream for my Mum's Celebration Service which is being held in May after she sadly passed away a few weeks ago 😞
I have a Office 365 account so had thought I might use Teams, but the plan I have doesn't allow it to be recorded, so I needed to look elsewhere. Having used Zoom during the pandemic, I fell out with them after they automatically renewed a subscription I wanted to cancel, and when I tried to cancel it a few days after they point blank refused. So I'm looking at Google Meet.
I think this can do what I'm looking for and was going to set up meeting and send the link to the guests. My worry is that there might be more than 100 people wanting to join, and it looks like this might be the limit for the single user account? Can anyone confirm this, and/or suggest how I can increase this. My Mum was involved in various barbershop singing organisations and knew lots of people as a result, so I don't think 100 is joining to cut it. I really don't want to hand over my credit card details again to Zoom if I can avoid it!
Thanks, Adrian
