Google Systems removed user from group

Hello, 

One of our users has received an email saying they've been successfully removed from the group. 

I checked the report logs and saw it was done by Google Systems, but there was no apparent reason, no recovery email address was removed and we don't have any dynamic rules, that we know. 

Please, what other causes can this have?

@Irisq Is it a dynamic group or a normal group or a security group?

It's just a regular group, no rules applied

@Irisq I couldn't think of any other reasons, you might need the Google support team to look into this.

You can use the chat option by clicking on the ? icon or can use the below link to create a ticket with the google support team:

They could explain this unexpected behaviour on a better way i guess

@Irisq Kindly post the solution/explanation from the google team once you have an update from the google team such that we can use it for future reference.

@Irisq FYI the only time i got the successfully removed from group mail was while using the below step:

To leave a group and stop getting email from it, you can send an email to group name+unsubscribe@group domain. For example, to leave the group mygroup@googlegroups.com, you would send a message to mygroup+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com. You can send the request with no subject or body text.

@Irisq  when you unsubscribe an email using this way if you are checking Group enterprise log events, it will show as the Google system removed the user.

Please make sure you are referring to the Groups log events  as well.
