Hello! I connected my custom domain to Google Workspace via Bluehost. I will not be needing Bluehost services anymore. So I want to re-connect my custom domain to Google Workspace via Go Daddy instead but it won't let me edit MX records since it was already previously been verified.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hello!
Try to add the old verification on the new DNS Zone.
but this is strange, your new DNS zone should let you add MX entries independently of you already verified your domain.
Issue has been resolved! I went to the google workspace help page to access and edit my mx records and followed your recommendation first then followed workspace setup instructions --- it's working already. Thank you so much!

I will try that. Thanks!
It doesn't show that I can edit MX entries (I'm on manage domains). Also, shall I delete records on the old dns? Customer support did not recommend it though so... ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
There's no need.
You can't have two DNS zones working at the same time.
Only one will be read.
Can you provide us your domain name and the name of the new DNS provider.
