How to remove an organizational email account from Google Workspace without loosing access to the ac

Hi.

We have users with company domain accounts using gmail, Say user@xyz.com.

We have added some of these users to Google Workspace, but now, we need two of those users downgrading back to their normal gmail accounts, i.e. keeping their user@xyz.com and be able to access it with gmail, but not be part of the Google Workspace account/license.

Please let me know how to achieve this.
