How to turn off 'Topics' in Google Spaces?

How can I turn off 'Topics' in Google Spaces?
It's been created since while, but no one likes that 'Topics' feature in that space, and we want to convert it to a normal google space.
Creating a new space is not an option for us, as we have lot of files and conversation which we want available for everyone in that space.
