I cannot access the Security dashboard

Hi all,

I have Admin privileges covering all the available privileges for my account, but when I try to access the Workspace Security dashboard I get an error message. I have received an email communicating some potential risks with a link to a report but I cannot access the report or the dashboard (through the security area in Workspace)

According to this support page https://support.google.com/a/answer/7532105?hl=en under privileges I should see a specific dashboard one, but I cannot see it.

Have you had the same issue and do you know how I could solve it?

Hi Raquel. Which edition of Google Workspace do you have? Security centre is only available for enterprise editions.

Hi! Thanks for your response. We do have the Business Starter plan so that must be it then. A bit weirs as I did get an email with some high level stats? Thanks!

It’s Google’s ham-handed attempt at upselling you to a higher Workspace edition. It was indeed quite confusingly worded. Grumble…

Indeed, it's Google's way of raising awareness of potential issues and functionality that's available to help you remedy it.... but it could be more clear that an upgrade is needed in order to access that functionality.

So if I have a Google Workspace Foe Education, I don't have the Invastigation Tool?

The Security Investigation Tool is only available with Education Standard and Education Plus licenses, not the default Education Fundamentals license.

So if I don't have this option, I guess I have the Education Fundamentals.

And If I want to delete a specific email from the inbox users, I can't do this?
