Greetings, my name is Oran Dobbins and I live in Texas. I work on maintaining settings & data in the Google Workspace, ADFS authentication, and web resources for ECISD. I am an expert in diagnosing network issues and always looking for new ways to ensure that the district can operate with as little human interaction as possible. In this way I help secure our users time so that they may continue to focus on education. While ECISD Policy prevents me from building on top of external software products, I do enjoy writing proof of concepts and presenting plans to companies so that they may improve their products to better meet the needs of my District.

Hi everyone, my name is Angelo, I live in Chile and I work in a non profit organization that manage 17 free schools for underprivileged kids.  I'm in charge of IT infraestructure, and been managing the Workspace console for 8 years, with around 25k students and 16k chromebooks.  I have the Professional ChromeOS Administrator and Professional Google Workspace Administration certificates.

I'm here to share and learn from the experience of this community 🙂  for fun, I like to play guitar and play basketball, also gaming when I have the time.

I am currently helping my son with some IT matters, including setting up a new workspace account. I have used google services extensively over the years and prefer the docs and sheets to Microsoft. Hello there, it seems that you have bought this domain using Google domains, now, have you sign up for a Google Workspace account? that is the way for you to access a worklike for google core services like gmail.com or drive | calendar that you will add your domain under, so emails or any information comes from the domain and not a gmail.com account, 
Keep in mind that is a paid subscription service which is based as per user/seat type

I have signed up for and paid for the minimum service (about 4.6 GBP pr. month). I have access to the admin console. I have all the apps enabled, I can see that I am using 0 gb in storage, but no matter what application I choose where the 9 dots (in a square) are in the top right corner, I am always taken back to the console page.

Tolli, this is really odd,

Try to open an incognito window, sign in to your admin account, then open a
new tab with gmail.google.com or drive.google.com and also try the apps
grid in the upper right hand side corner,

Before doing that, try to check in the admin console if the apps access is
enabled (it is by default) so, go to Apps>Google workspace> check Gmail or
drive if it says enabled or ON for everyone

No, this did not help. I've also tried firefox and Edge browsers and it's the same  story. All apps are listed as ON for everyone, but none of them are working. I think I have tried them all. It's getting late here in Iceland, so I will not be replying to any suggestions until tomorrow. Hope this issue can be solved.
