Is it possible to hide specific Google Groups from search?

Hi,

I have created specific security groups that are only for use in GDrive for authorisation(For example, a group that is intended for all content managers of a folder so that authorisation becomes easier). I don't want them to be visible to everyone in the general search (Gmail...). Is it possible to hide them? Is there a solution via script?

I found a solution via Google Apps Manager (GAM) with the following command:

gam update group <Group Email Address> includeinglobaladdresslist false
