My google drive is now asking me to request permission. I think it may have something to do with a previous business (from a long, long time ago) where I also had a drive and this particular drine may have been interacting or a master (maybe) of the impacted and disabled drive I need to access.
The error message is as follows: We are sorry, but your Administrator has cancelled your subscription to Google Workspace. In order to re-subscribe, please contact your Google Workspace Administrator.
I am a 'super administrator, but apparently, not for this drive. I thought I had the contact from the previous google drive setup, but when I tried that I got the same error message and I so need to recover the impacted drive/workspace as I have multiple team members impacted.
I have cleared cookies and cache and tried incognito and also on another computer and all return the same message and/or request permission.
I have other drives not affected, however, this one in business impacting.
Does anyone know what my next steps might be? BTW, posting in the channel as I was going around in circles looking for a 'help' process that might actually help with this.
Appreciate advice on this. Thanks in advance.
@TonyHN I would make sure you are logged in to only one Google Workspace account and go to drive.google.com in a web browser. An incognito window is ideal for this. Do you still see the shared drive there? Are you able to view the members or anything? The thought is this is a shared drive from another workspace instance and that it no longer exists. -KAM
Thanks KAM. As per your suggestion I tested and cannot open the folder cannot see drive members or folders.
This is the continuing error message: This is a shortcut to an item that you can't open
You are right that this is another workspace instance from another workspace that no longer exists and I am at a loss as to how to recover it.
Open to all suggestions!
