Need Help Enabling Recording in Google Meet

Hi - I am using the "Essentials" version of Google Workspace and I am attempting to enable meeting recording for Google Meet but am having difficulty.

I am following the instructions provided in the article linked below, but once I am in my Admin console under Google Workspace -> Google Meet -> Meet Video Settings there is no section for "Recording" as the article says there should be. I haven't been able to get any further than this. https://support.google.com/a/answer/7557052?sjid=14314855157589489115-NA

When I go to the Activities section while in a Google Meet, even from my admin account, there is no option for Recording.

Any guidance would be very appreciated!

Are you using Essentials Starter, our free offering? If that's the case: you would need to upgrade to a paid version of Essentials to get the Meet recording feature (and a lot more): https://support.google.com/a/users/answer/7681288
