When using the new New email draft template in Google Docs, it's not quite working as expected for us, firstly when you click on the Blue "M" button in Google Docs "Preview in Gmail" it opens up a blank New Message window, none of the recipients, subject or text is transferred to this window, however if you then goto GMAIL there is a draft in there that does have the correct information, however it is missing your auto signature, granted the feature does work and you can manually add your signature but is this expected behaviour? I have tested this with a few users and we all get the same, I am not sure if this is relevant but we still have the old GMAIL interface, we are still waiting patiently for this to roll out to us? anyone know when this will happen?
I am having the same situation. I have created an email draft in Docs, clicked on the M button to send it to Gmail, my signature which is set with defaults to populate with a new email does not appear NOR can I insert it by clicking the pen. Hoping this is resolved soon.
Actually, I CAN manually add the email signature, I just have click on and off the pen a couple of times. Huge bummer it does not populate automatically.
