Anybody know a way to get notifications from GDrive folders that have had files added to them?
I love my notifications on Sheets and Docs. But I'd also love a feature to be able to turn on notifications when someone adds a file to a folder. Maybe we already have one - but I have been unable to find it.

It can be done administratively through the audit logs in the admin panel. Not a real solution for all end users but can solve admin needs.
Details on activity rules. You can set it to an hour or 24 hour threshold.
If you are looking for a more end user friendly option I would check the Google Workspace Marketplace. Ive seen folder notification add ons but I've never used one.

Ty for the answer. I can't find a suitable Add On - so I've done a "feature idea" to Google to see if they can provide this as a permanent feature.
