Hello all,
Is there a way to assign PINs (inside of Google admin console) to students using Chromebooks that are managed by our school domain?
Background: I am trying to find a way for Kindergarten students to use touchscreen Chromebooks instead of iPads, however, my teachers are not fond of logging each student into their device 5 or 6 times a day. At their age, they are struggling to learn the alphabet, much less remember a Google account and password.
Any thoughts are appreciated!

I do not have this enabled at my school but the option is in the Google Admin Console to allow PIN for Quick Unlock. This setting can be found in Devices>Chrome>Settings>Users & Browsers>then in the Security category or search for Quick unlock. This article indicates that "If you choose PIN and turn off ephemeral mode, users can use their PIN instead of their Google Account password to sign in to ChromeOS devices with the Google H1 security chip." So, it appears you have to have devices with Google H1 security chip for this to work.
Have you considered using Clever badges for your elementary students?

Thank you Beth! 😀👍
That is exactly what I needed. I am looking into Clever badges now. Thank you for the links!
CleverGo badges are the way to go for younger students or those requiring some assistive tech to help speed up the login process for them. They're great!
