Recovering a web domain that Google reserved

I started the process of subscribing to Google Workspace and entered the web domain that I wanted to use before I ended the process without completing it. Now, when I try to sign up for Google Workspace and enter the domain I wanted to use, it says that the domain is no longer available.

How can I recover access to this web domain?

You can recover access to the domain by going back to the incomplete Google Workspace setup. Try signing in at the admin console using the email address you started the process with. If the setup is still saved, you'll be prompted to continue. If that doesn’t work, you can contact Google Workspace support and provide proof of domain ownership—they can help you release the domain so you can start fresh.
