I joined Google Workspace and then set up a phone number port request after adding Google Voice. I subsequently decided (before the port date) to not use Google Workspace. When I canceled Voice and Workspace I neglected to cancel the port. Unfortunately, as I went through the cancellation process Google prompted me to delete my admin account. In spite of the GW cancellation, the port went through and now I can't get into Google Workspace to unlock the number so I can return it to the original provider.
I filled out the "Google Admin Console Sign in Issues" form to try to regain access. However, because I entered my deleted account on the form, the auto-response was that the username is not in the system. I replied to the response describing my problem but have not gotten any reply from Support (the email said I could reply to reach GW support). If I try to login with the deleted account and click "Forgot email", I'm told to contact my admin (i.e, me).
So I've gotten myself into a mess here.
Any suggestions for how to proceed? Will Support eventually respond to me?
