Hi All,

Hope you are doing well! Wish you Merry Christmas!

 There is a thing which bugging me a lot, I am working as Operation Analyst were I would like to do user password reset via script which includes sending the password reset link automatically to the user’s recovery email.

Is it possible ? Because while onboarding users in bulk it’s been hard to reset password for each and every user.

If above thing can be done it is easy to setup SSPR as well for me.

Thanks foe replying KAM, I have went through the link up to my understanding it creates an user and update the user's password but it doesn't mention the option to sent password reset link to user's recovery mail address. 

Could you please check and revert?

@aravindkumar_ak afraid I'm just giving you pointers and you'll need to dig into the APIs more (https://developers.google.com/admin-sdk/directory) but you might have to script up something that sends the email you want. 

For example, change the password to a random password, send it to the secondary email with the changePasswordAtNextLogin": set to true.

Password reset link can't be scripted, you may consider creating enforcing users to change password themselves at first login.
