Send Google Form from alias email

Hello!

I just started a new company and my billing cycle involves sending a google form to my clients. The problem is that I want my form to be sent from an email alias (admin@companyname.com) as opposed to my personal company email. The only solution is to add another user but I dont think the expense is justified to just send a form.

Any add ons or workarounds available for this?

This really depends on how you actually send out the email. If you do it manually through Gmail, you can easily add the alias address to your Gmail and send the mail from the alias address (see link below).

If you are sending it in some automated fashion, we would need more details to determine whether it is possible.

Hello, thanks for the reply!

I dont have an issue creating an alias or sending an email from an alias. The problem is sending a Google Form as an alias. In Google Forms, at the top right there is a "Send" button. When I press that, it gives me an option to send directly as an email (which is what I want to do). The problem is that it does not give me an option to select who I want the sender to be (as it does when I send a normal email). So the form automatically gets send from my account.

Hope that clarifies the inquiry.

Yes, it does, thank you. Unfortunately, there is no way to change that. So instead of using the "built in" send via email option, I would copy the share link and send it from Gmail (from your alias address). Not perfect, but better than nothing.
