Trouble Restoring Deleted User in Google Workspace

I am having trouble with restoring a recently deleted user in Google Workspace. The user was deleted within the past 20 days, but every time I try to restore the account, I receive an error message saying, "Restore operation failed."

I have confirmed the following:

  1. I have Super Admin access.
  2. The user is not merely suspended; the account was indeed deleted.
  3. There are no active users or aliases with the same username as the one I'm trying to restore.

I have tried restoring the account multiple times over the past few days, in different browsers, but the error persists.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to resolve this issue? I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

I had a similar instance recently. It had to do with not enough licenses
being automatically applied to the OU I was restoring the user into. In my
case CI Premium was suspended and auto assigned. Adjusting the licensing
settings fixed the issue. --

@anjanaysaxena Do you have enough licenses?

You can check it under Billing > Subscriptions.
