Trying to connect my domain to Google Sites

I am trying to connect my custom domain to google sites. 

Where can I get the IP address for pointing a domain to an IP address?

Please see attached screenshot for reference where this step is required.

There's not the instructions that Google provide - try following these instead:

Google Sites doesn't use A, AAAA or IP addresses. All you need is a cname for your subdomain, like www, pointing to ghs.googlehosted.com. Afterwards, remember to set up domain forwarding for the root domain to forward to your www web address.
