As a Workspace Admin, it may feel like your Workspace adoption journey is now complete. While we hope that your adoption has been successful, we recognize that large organizational changes sometimes come with challenges.

This week we’d like to revisit this process to focus on post-adoption change management practices, and make sure you and your teams have done all that you can to ensure a successful transition.

  1. Sharing successes. What major wins have you had? It’s great to highlight successful use cases and to share with other departments in your organization for inspiration. And are there any before/after metrics that can show how productivity has been increased?
  2. Identify gaps. What teams have been slower to adopt? Identifying any blockers they may be facing and addressing their needs will help progress your adoption initiative. While this may seem like an obvious step, addressing these issues head-on is the only way to uncover what every team needs for their success.
  3. User training. Do you have a method for measuring users who have completed training? And have you surveyed their comfortability with these new systems? Identifying knowledge gaps that can be resolved by training is a great way to ensure everybody has been enabled.
  4. Ongoing support. Do you have designated champions for providing assistance across your organization? Does everybody know who to ask? It’s important that all of your users have an avenue for questions and assistance to feel supported.
  5. Sharing product updates. Have you established a method for regularly sharing changes to the product with your team? You don’t want your users to be caught off guard, so establishing a designated person to share changes on a regular cadence is important to success.

The exhaustive checklist of steps for a successful change management strategy can be viewed in the image below. This can also be used retroactively as a reference to identify any gaps during your adoption process.
