Unable to create Google Ads Account in Google Workspace

Hello guys,

my Google account is part of a Google organization. I have the super admin role and the permission to setup any new services. Also the permission to open a Google Ads account is set to yes in our Google organization. But unfortunately I'm not able to create a Google Ads account. Everytime I visit the Google Ads page and click on create a new Google Ads Account, I'll get redirected to the Google Ads Landingpage. I tried different browsers and different devices. No chance to create a Google Ads Account.

We have no billing account in our Google Workspace account so maybe, this could be the reason. We have a running Google Cloud Account with a billing account. Now I would like to connect the existing billing account in GCP to the Google Workspace. Is this possible?

I also tried to set up a new billing account in Google Workspace, but there is no option to do this. I can only activate a new subscription and then add billing information. But I don't want to activate a subscription which I don't need.

Can anyone help?

Hello Human,

thank you for your reply. Not sure how the app Google Ads for Google Sheets should solve our problem with the creating a Google Ads account.

Regarding your second link, as already mentioned we already have activated Google Ads for the whole organization, but it is still not possible to create a Google Ads account.

If someone has the same issue. Just create an Google Ads account with an email address which is not part of your organization, e.g. your private email address. Then transfer the Google Ads account to your companies email address. This is the easies way.
