Hello,
In the process of creating google workspace, I recently brought a domain from google like "non profit name.org". Then I thought I could login into google work space using my personal account "xxx.gmail.com" which I used as administrator while requesting domain for email addresses for non profit. But now it says I cannot login into admin console as my "xxx.gmail.com" is not administrator account. When I looked into google, I did read that admin account cannot end with @gmail.com. But during my entire process of getting domain, I did not use any other account other than this "xxx@gmail.com"
Could you please let me know what I should do next to fulfill my goal of creating google workspace and creating emails for people of non profit by including domain at the end to their email addresses
@siri0503 when you signed up for Google Workspace it asks what account you want to be admin and it only gives you the option to set the admin email address that uses the Google Workspace domain - you have to pick this else you cannot sign up for Google Workspace - here's a screenshot for Google Workspace sign up I have just replicated now for you:
As you can see in the screenshot above it asks for a username to use in Google Workspace and does not allow you to specify the email domain, as it uses the domain you're signing up for Google Workspace (in that screenshot example.com - I did use an actual domain just changed it for privacy).
You need to sign in, therefore, with the username and password you set at that point.
