Hi guys!
We are trying to use an X.509 certificate with a 2048-bit long RSA key in Gmail to sign emails but unfortunately we have not been successful. From what we could investigate this is because the certificate is used to "Sign" the message being sent (NOT encrypt) and Gmail does not support this.
We tried to use S/MIME but we have not been successful either, the only solution we found was to use third party clients (for example Thunderbird or Outlook) but it seems like a solution that limits users to using Google tools.
Currently there is some alternative to be able to use this certificate (Taking into account
That the certificate is only for signing)?
Thanks!!!
