Will I lose access to shared files when I lose access to my school account?

I will lose access to my school Gmail account later this month, so I made a Shared Drive with my personal account and put all my school files in the Shared Drive. When I lose access to my school account, will my personal account still be able to access the shared files? And if not, what should I do to efficiently transfer the files to my personal account?
