Promotion code not working, and only wrong plan is selected by default

Hi there! 
I had referred a customer to google workspace, and we weren't able to complete the sign up process as the process was blocked by 2 issues: 

  • Since I always help my customers if they need any help, we were on a google meet call, as they started the sign up process, the referral codes didn't work. It could be as the codes are from some time ago. 
  • Secondly, during the sign up process, we were shown only 1 plan (standard), while they were interested the other (starter plan). There seems to be no way to switch plans. I understand that you can start the trial period and then go back to the billing, downgrade it...but, then does the referral still count? and does the customer still get the discount? 

I have attached a screenshot below, to show both the issues. Yes, I know that standard and starter both have different codes, and I tried both, but none worked. I tried several times to contact google support via the form, but It's been 4 days now and no response. 

Please do let me know others have faced the same, and if yes what could be the possible solution. @Carolina-A, any suggestions.

Yes, I can send a message on the linked form, but not sure about the context. Like, what should I say in the form?

I have done as you had suggested. The client's account has been setup, along with users, card for payment, email migration and I have used the fresh codes that I had received in mail from google.

I hope, all is in order now, and request you to please get it checked on your end as well.

Hi @launganim,

We see that there is one referral in progress with the promotion code, linked to your referral link. Once the Google Workspace customer completes 90 days as a referral partner, you should receive a payment profile link to enter your bank details and receive your referral bonus.
