Cloud Roadmap FAQ

When is the roadmap available?

Our roadmap is aligned with semester-based planning by our product teams, and typically arrives in the third week of Q1 and Q3. You will be able to view the latest roadmap, whenever you want, on GCC if you are logged in with a Google Account. The roadmap will remain available until the next roadmap replaces it. The roadmap is available in a PDF. You can contact your Google Sales, CE, or TAM resources at any time who will be able to see more granular and frequently updated data. As this data platform matures we intend to have it become available for customers as well.

My colleagues want to view the roadmap, too. How can they get access?

Do NOT share the videos with anyone, as doing so would be a breach of the confidentiality agreement, and you could face legal consequences.

Simply nominate your colleague(s) via the nomination form. The process for new submissions takes 24-48 hours to complete. You can expect a notification from the community team once the access process is finalized

How do I ensure I receive regular updates about the Product Roadmap?

As a member of this community, you have the option to receive email updates when new information is posted. To do this you will need to subscribe to the Customer Connect and/or the “Roadmap” Label.  You can, however, change your notification preferences via your profile. Please read our article on Subscriptions and Notifications on how to subscribe.

I cannot see the roadmap. What should I do?

There are two possible reasons why you don’t have permission to watch the video:

1- You’re signed in with a Google account that is not authorized for access. If you’re sure you’ve recently visited the Product Roadmap space, it’s possible that Drive is picking up a different Google Account from the corporate ID you use to access the GCC. In this case, sign in to GCC using your company email address via Chrome incognito window to ensure you have a fresh, single login session.

2- You cannot receive Drive files created outside of your domain: if you are in a closed Drive sharing domain, please reach out to gc-customer-community@google.com for assistance.

Will the roadmap be made available only via Drive?

Yes, we are using Drive to distribute and control access to the roadmap. If you cannot receive files created outside of your domain, reach out to us at gc-customer-community@google.com so we can come up with a solution. Please allow up to five business days for our team to respond to your email.
