Action buttons in dashboard view

I have two calenders in a dashboard view, one of which has overlay action buttons. However the actions buttons only appear when i enlarge the view. Is there anyway of showing the actios buttons in a dashboard view?

Thank you for your reply and solution, I thought it was somewhere just could not find it 🙂 anyway it works on one of the calenders but dosen't show actions on the other?

An idea: if you use a slice on the other one, make sure the action you are willing to display is a part of your slice actions.

Also, make sure your slice update mode allows the action you wish to perform.

Views/Settings/View Type Options/Show primary actions in dashboards

pin this for latest version. Took me a while to find the Option.
