Action that behaves like a Report but on demand

Hi there,

I currently have a Report that is triggered at the start of each month to create, email and save a PDF of an Invoice of all of last months customers and their deliveries.

I would like to have an Action that would allow my users to input a FROM and TO date to determine what information / invoices that would like to save as a PDF, and have it save instantly.

Is this possible? I have not been able to find out a solution.
