After the UI update gallery text is impossible to view properly

I only see a few characters. I’ve even taken the text size down to 0.6

Is there any remedy?

The jump between tiny and small image size is too big on mobile devices…

Edit: To clarify. The size increase on gallery images should be a curve, not linear. And preferably with more fine tuned slider control.
