App occasionally won't open in Safari

I'd be curious to know if I am alone in experiencing this issue or if there are others out there who have noticed something similar.

I often use an app in my browser, accessed from a bookmark.  The address is https://www.appsheet.com/start/  followed by the code for the app.

Sometimes its just slow to open and sometimes it gets completely stuck when I'm using Safari.  If I take the same URL and try to open the app in Chrome it works.

Safari: Version 16.0 (17614.1.25.9.10, 17614)

Mac: 12:6

One aggravating factor may be that my app is pretty big.

Anyone else experience something like this?

I have an iMac and use Chrome exclusively.  As you have noted certain things may not work or work differently in Safari.  There have been occasions when I could not use Chrome and in those instances switched to Safari to get by.

In case you are not aware, and for anyone else reading,  all web based applications and websites need to be coded specifically for each web browser.  While there is a LOT of standard overlap amongst them all, each browser has its own way of handling the non-standard things as well as each trying to assert their own awesome features.  This is why we have several different browsers (anyone remember Netscape?)

Most tech companies will publish which browsers and version they currently support.  I don't know if AppSheet does.  I did find  this article but it doesn't provide details :  Supported mobile devices and browsers

Appsheet abstracts all of the browser specific implementations into their platform so we don't need to worry about it.  But they are going to focus on where the market share is.  Safari doesn't have great market share so its compatibility may be sketchy in some areas.

Thanks a lot!  I recall reading somewhere (but I can't recall where) that AppSheet supports Safari.  Yet, everything you wrote makes sense to me and I generally find Chrome to be the superior browser -- not only for AppSheet.  I guess I need to kick the Safari habit -- something I've been putting off for some reason.

P.S.  I'm responding to this via the Safari browser but I've found that several functions in this community don't work on Safari either.  For example, when I need to edit something I've written to correct an error, I have to go to Chrome to do it.
