AppSheet Database Performance vs. Sheets

I have a few apps sharing common data  - in all about 25 tables with each app containing 10-15 tables. Tables are anywhere from 20-80 columns each and anywhere from 100 to 20000 rows . I recently started migrating from Sheets data sources to a set of AppSheet Databases thinking I'd get better scalability and performance, but so far my experience has been the opposite. Syncs have gotten significantly slower, and there are substantially more performance issues.

Has anyone else experienced the same? Best to migrate back to sheets and stick with that? Is there a definitive guide to optimizing app performance for more ambitious apps like mine?  @Steve @Rachelgmoore @ShirleyN

AppSheet Database is junk. Stick with Sheets or move to SQL.
