Appsheet integration with Google Chat

I'm trying to create an app where:

- when a message is created in a specific chat space, the message will be sent to a googlesheet

OR

- when a message is created in a specific chat space, the message will be sent to a gmail account

I know this will involve webhooks, and have reviewed a similar topic at Integration with Google Chat - How? Actually it was ultra easy but I'm trying to do the reverse. Is this possible?

How is this an AppSheet issue?

I'm looking to take advantage of appsheets webhooks automation feature in order to send chat messages to a spreadsheet. I guess the issue is whether I can even do that in Appsheet or not 😅

AppSheet webhooks can reach out and push data, but they cannot pull data. For chat messages to get fed into an app, an external process (e.g., Integromat) would have to feed the chat messages to the app using the AppSheet API. If Google Chat itself can use webhooks, you could configure Google Chat to feed the app using the AppSheet API.
