Change the icon of file in the form view

Is it possible to change the icon displayed in the file field (highlighted in yellow)? I would like to replace the PDF icon with a different one, as the file I want users to upload is a .txt file. If so, could you please explain how to do it?

Maybe if you change the icon configured for the corresponding Open file action?

It didn't work. The icon I chose was displayed inline with the filename, but the icon in the file field remained unchanged.

As far as I remember, I'm afraid you can't change it because it's hard coded.

If my memory serves me right, then Bar code scanning column is another one where one cannot change the default icon in the form?
