I've tried to connect appsheet to a my cloud postgres database (aivencloud, that uses a not-default port number).
If in the section "Add database connection information" I enter in "Server" <my-service.a.aivencloud.com:port_number> the connection it is refused; if I enter <ip_number:port_number> the connection works.
Since the numeric IP address of the server is dynamic I would like to connect the database with the hostname instead of the IP number....
It should be possible to use the hostname by specifying the non-default port but I couldn't.
It seems possible to do this in sql server
Any suggestions?
