Deck View Question

I want to show a long text field in a deckview. I’ve tried creating a ref_row but it won’t show the value of the field. Also generated a virtual with a long text but it won’t show as a list value in the view editor…

The goal is to show more at the view level without editing the record. Is there another way to achieve this?
