Deck View: Row Selected Event Action not working when part of a Map View

In a Deck View you can choose what action should happen, if you click on the deck. Usually it opens the detail view. 

But this is not working if the deck view is part of a map view. If you click on the deck, it will always open the detail view. I mean the deck view that opens on mobile.

This is a known thing since years, but it came again to my attention.

Does anyone know if this is intended?
