I need some help understanding how to effectively use deep links. The documentation says that there is a column of type "App" that, it states: "is used to navigate to a different view in the current app or to another app. The value in an App column must be a deep link."
I have created a virtual column of type "App" that generates a deep link using the formula: linktorow([_Thisrow].[I-CAR ID],"Body Techs Only","TTSReporting-1521071")
What I get is something that looks like this in the detail view of the record:
....And it does absolutely nothing. I was expecting to get a clickable "deep link" into the other app to view information associated with this record's key value.
How would I accomplish this? What is the correct use case for an "App" column... What is it for? Thanks!
